Daily Calculation exercises - Day 11 | Accelerated Dragon against Grandmaster Pacher
I created 5 exercises from the game against Grandmaster Milan Pacher. Which we played in the 2nd round of the International Master Tournament in Budapest.
How can get black an advantage from the complications?
White moved Bb3 to have a safe square for the bishop.
In the game I needed to decide: What to do with the c6 knight?
How should black play this endgame?
White played Qd2 to unpin the c3 knight. How Can black keep the initiative?
I wish you enjoyed the exercises. Please use the patterns in your games!

Grandmaster Milan Pacher played the main line against the accelerated dragon.
He played Bc4 to prevent d7-d5. I replied with early Qa5 to pin the c3 knight and force kingside castling. The other option is to castle and allow white to castle long. I use the Chessmood accelerated dragon course. You can check it at https://chessmood.com/course/sicilian-defence-accelerated-dragon?r=AttilaTurzo It is a video course by Grandmaster Avetik Grigoryan.
After his Nd5 Nxd5 exd5 he got space advantage and pressure on the e-file. I got the pair of bishops by Ne5-c4 Bxc4 Rxc4. Then I decided to sacrifice a pawn to free up the position.
I went to the endgame with 2 bishops against knight, bishop and pawn and I was able to keep the equality.
