Daily Calculation exercises - Day 14 | Grand Prix attack against the sicilian defense
I played an exciting attacking game against the young South African player Levi Caleb Levitan and created 9 exercise for you.
4 moves earlier I used a lot of time to find this move which lead to a winning attack
This Bf6 mistake I avoided in the game. How can black take advantage of it?
In the opening Black could get the initiative and an advantage. How?
How should white continue after the sacrifice?
Black attacked the g5 knight. What should white do?
How should black recapture on d7?
How can black equalize?
How can white continue the attack?
How to coordinate the white pieces?
I wish you enjoyed the exercises. Please use the patterns in your games!

I played the Grand Prix attack against his sicilian defense.
I used this course to prepare for the game: https://chessmood.com/course/sicilian-defence-part-3?r=AttilaTurzo
I played the opening too slow and allowed him a quick attack to get an advantage, but he played also slow so I got time to develop and start to build up an attack. He lost a few moves and also played pawn moves around his king to give me a winning attack.
I missed the concrete winning lines, but after the missed opportunities I focused on improving my pieces and won a nice endgame:
