Daily Calculation Exercises - Day 23 | Rossolimo variation of the Sicilian Defense
I share 6 exercises from the game I played in the Titled Tuesday Tournament against the Canadian Candidate Master Roman Jiganchine.

I got checkmated this way:
Important moment in the opening. How should white continue?
How can black fight?
What should black do?
d4 is attacked. What can black do?
The c5 pawn is under attack. How should black react?
I use and recommend these courses. Please check them. They may help you to go to the next level in your chess.

Roman played the Rossolimo variation against the Sicilian Defense.
I played the rare a6 move to force capture on c6. He sacrificed a pawn by d2-d4.
I got a good position, but did not find the way to defend well and got in trouble in the middlegame:
I used this course to prepare for the game: Nightmare of Rossolimo
In the afternoon I went to run with my daughter and stopped at the Church for a moment before we went to the library.
