Daily Calculation exercises Day 6
Today I created exercises from the games I played in the last Early Titled Tuesday this week.
2 exercises happened in the games, all others are possibilities which were missed.
I just played Rab6 to attack the b2 pawn against Vidit, Santosh Gujrathi who is 18th on the World ranking, one of the best players of the world, India's 2nd best player:
I won this game but only on time. This tactics would finish the fight in style:
Can you please write in the comments which exercise you liked the most and which was the hardest?

Today I went to run in the afternoon before I visited a spiritual lecture with my wife.
These flowers are so nice! Last year we also planted a tree like this.

What do we need to do to improve our chess? I think these words about self improvement are also true about chess:
" This requires that he should be honest with himself in his innermost soul. He must in no case be under any illusion concerning his own self. With a feeling of inner truth, he must look at his own faults, weaknesses and unfitness full in the face. The moment he tries to excuse to
himself any one of his weaknesses, he has placed a stone before him on the path which is
to lead him upward. Such obstacles can only be removed by self-enlightenment. There is
only one may to get rid of faults and failings, and that is, by a just recognition of them.
Everything slumbers in the human soul and can be awakened. A person can even improve
his intellect and reason, if he quietly and calmly makes it clear to himself why he is weak
in this respect. Such self-knowledge is, of course, difficult, for the temptation to selfdeceit is immeasurably great. Anyone making a habit of being truthful with himself, lays
open the portal leading to a deeper insight." How to Know Higher Worlds: A Modern Path of Initiation by Rudolf Steiner.
