Daily Calculation exercises Day 7
Today I created 4 puzzles from my game which I played in Titled Tuesday tournament against Candidate Master Oscar Ardila from Colombia.
2 exercises happened in the game, and the other 2 I found when analyzed the game.
In this position he missed a tactics, possible because he did not find the 2nd move of this variation:
After his missed opportunity I found a good defensive move which gave me a small edge:

Today I was teaching the Classical Dragon to one of my students Barna. I recorded the session and You can watch it:
Then I had a nice lunch: Beans soup, cesar salad and poppy seed bread pudding.
After the meal I was teaching Raphael one of my students from Japan, Tokyo.
We analysed one of his games which he finished with a nice checkmate:
After the Tourney I had dinner: bread with cooked vegetables, cesar salad, berry cake and poppy seed bread pudding. It was great ![]()
Then I was teaching one of my students from Denver, Jeff. I helped him to solve this checkmate puzzle. He solved it without looking on the board. Then we discussed some opening ideas with him:
The last coaching session today was with Pablo, one of my students I was teaching long time ago. He showed one of his games in the Latvian gambit. He got a great position out of the opening, but allowed wrong exchanges and missed the endgame in the time trouble:
