Exciting King Hunt against International Master Laszlo Krizsany
In round 2 of the Vezerkepzo Spring International Master tourney I played with International Master Laszlo Krizsany from Hungary.
He surprised me with 1.b3 It was a pleasant surprise. I got a great position from the opening and sacrificed a pawn for the attack and a black bishop on e3.
I increased my advantage and got several winning chances, but when I was low on time I missed it several times.
After move 40 I sacrificed 2 pawns for a mating attack, but missed it again and he was able to run away and win with the extra material:
