Road to the Grandmaster title - Caro-kann counter-attack

I started my day again with 1 hour of tactics puzzles at 7:00 am.

Before the my first coaching session of the day I played my daily 3 training games and briefly analyzed them.

Today is the 9th day when I used around 1 hour to play training games and to analyze them. 

In the first game my opponent played the exchange Slav with Bg5. I played Nf6 and allowed him to create double pawns. My position was solid and got an advantage. Then he sacrificed 2 pawns and got a great counter-play. It finished with a draw

In the 2nd game my opponent played the advance variation of the Caro-kann, but gave up the center too early with dxc5. I got a better pawn structure, won a pawn and won by a counter-attack on the kingside.

In the final game I played with the same opponent as in the 2nd game. I allowed again double-pawns, but it helped me the control the center and build up a nice position in the London system. I won the endgame.

Last day I managed to sleep 8 hours. I was very happy and I think I played much better, than in the last 7 days.

I will give my best to reorganize my life to get more sleep to have energy for the games.

My blitz rating went from 2494 to 2513. The biggest gain in the past 9 days.

In the last 9 days I played 36 games, lost 20 games and won 13 games and drew 3 games.

In the early afternoon I went to run. It was the first time of the year when the weather was warm enough, so I could use a t-shirt. The sun was shining nicely.
