Road to the Grandmaster title - Endgame Victory against Grandmaster Rustemov

Yesterday I won a game against Grandmaster Alexander Rustemov in the Titled Tuesday Tournament.

I played the London system. He replied the modern Bd6, Qc7 line. I got a big advantage, but missed my chances to win material and I got into a worse endgame with rooks and knight.

I made good exchanges to equalize the game and he also allowed a very good pawn exchange.

I kept my strong passed a-pawn which helped me to win the game:

In the morning I did my 1 hour tactics training. I share a few puzzles with you:

The Grandmaster tourney will start today at 14:00 CET. Please send your positive thoughts!
