Bad Games And What Went Wrong
Hello everyone! Today I am going to show and talk about some All Around Bad Games and what happened that made them so bad! I will be looking at some of my worst games, including wins, losses, and draws! I am also going to include some titled player games that I say aren't titled player-level.
GAME TIME #1
Alright! Game time! Let's look at these games! In this game, I played as white and my opponent was playing as black.
Why would I say this game is bad? Its accuracy is 70.7 for me and 78.7 for my opponent. That's not a bad accuracy for bullet. But I feel like this game was just very bad. I didn't manage my time very well, I got stressed out about the time, and Lost by checkmate. My opponent played well, and so did I. The reason I say this is a bad game? Because I did exactly what you're not supposed to do on a bullet game: panic about time. Other than that it wasn't that bad of a game.
GAME TIME #2
Time for game #2. Let's see how this goes. This game is @punter99 (playing as white) and GM @Hikaru (playing as black).
Wow, am I right? GM Hikaru lost at Daily! Not trying to say anything bad about Hikaru, he is my GOAT (Greatest of all time). But this game was just wow! Punter ( who is not a titled player, just a really good Daily player) beat Hikaru on time! Wow! And GM Hikaru even had a Blunder Re4! And this was Daily, not live where he was not running out of time or anything! Hikaru didn't have any brilliant moves, but his opponent had one, move Bd5. This is just a wow game!
GAME TIME #3
Let's see what happens here. In this game, I was playing as black. The accuracy was 73.2 for me and 69.6 for my opponent.
This game was really hard on both sides. I lost on time in what I would say is a winning position. This was Bullet so I'm really surprised the accuracy was as high as it was. Ncd8 was my opponent's first mistake, definitely was not a great way to start the game. Ne6 was my first big mistake, I left both my knights open for attack. In the end, I lost on time, very upsetting. I felt like I was going to be able to win, if I had 10 more seconds I could have won.
GAME TIME #4
This game was definitely interesting. It was GM @ChristopherYoo (playing as black) vs @MagyarChess (playing as white). This is a blitz game, both players had a rating over 3000.
Let's look at the game:
This was a very interesting game. Yoo had an accuracy of 72.9 and @MagyarChess had an accuracy of 77.3. pretty crazy game huh? Yoo lost by resigning! Kanda unbelievable game if you ask me. Cxd5 was the first mistake of the game, yoo should have taken with the other pawn. Qb5 was the next mistake, this one was made by @MagyarChess. @MagyarChess should have played G4. There were no brilliant moves in this game, but there was one Blunder. This one, a big mistake, was made by @MagyarChess when they moved B5. It's really not that bad of a game for yoo, he was just off his game for this one.
GAME TIME #5
In this game, I was playing as black, and my opponent was white. This was Daily, for a tournament actually. Witch I am currently in second place when my rating is 872 lol!
In my opinion, this was a very bad game. draw from repeating moves. As you can tell at the end, I didn't want to give up my rook, and my opponent didn't either. The accuracy for me was 76.7 and my opponents was 79.5. neither of us had any Blunders or missed moves. However, when it came to mistakes I had two (Nc6 and H6) and my opponent had two as well (bxe5 and dxc6). We also had inaccuracies, I had one, and my opponent had 5! However, when it comes to great moves, I had one, and my opponent had 6. How did my opponent get six? Because my opponent played Bh7 and Bg6 three times each.
GAME TIME #6
In this game, I was playing as black, and my opponent was playing white. This was a bullet game, and I am definitely not proud of it.
This game was soooo bad. I wasn't paying attention, and I got completely smoked. The accuracy of this game was 72.2 for me and 82.5 for my opponent. This goes with saying but my first mistake was Nxd4, it was only a mistake instead of a Blunder. Axb4 was my next mistake. I am definitely not happy about that.
GAME TIME #7
This was a bullet game, I played as black.
What a game! A pretty good start, I was winning on time, and all I had to do was keep moving and checking and I would win on time. The accuracy was 56.7 for myself and 74.4 for my opponent. I amazingly didn't have any Blunders, my opponent didn't have any either. I lost by checkmate after pre-moving a ton trying to win on time. Definitely a big mistake on my part.
GAME TIME #8
Ah yes! The game we've all seen by now is the famous game of Hans vs Magnus. I wanted to re-review this game.
This game has been posted and talked about so much in the last few weeks, I'm surprised people are still talking about it! Everyone has an opinion on this, but I already did I blog on that, read it Here! Now, back to the game. Let's go over the facts, Hans Vs Magnus, Hans won, and Magnus got upset. But what really happened in the game? Let's see. Magnus played pretty well, but Hans played better. Magnus has an accuracy of 86.3 (even I've had higher!) And Hans had an accuracy of 90.5. Neither player had any Blunders, Magnus had two missed moves, Magnus had two mistakes and Hans had three. Hans had 12 great moves and Magnus had none 😐. When it comes to brilliants, both players had none. This game will probably be debated for the next 100 years!
YOU SURVIVED!
Congratulations! You just saw 8 games, all of which I consider to be bad. If you have a different option, please feel free to share it In the comments. As always I am asking for feedback to help improve myself as a blogger, please, there is no such thing as bad feedback in my opinion. I want to know what I did right, what I did wrong, and what I did really wrong.
