Path To Chess Prosperity #6 PART 1: Eight Tactics

Greetings, and welcome to my 6th installment of "Path to Chess Prosperity". I hope you read (and enjoy!) the other five parts. 

Well, as I mentioned last week, I had a tournament (which I will cover in part 2... stay tuned!) and wanted to spend most of my chess-related time analyzing the games. So all I did training wise was solve standard tactics on Chesstempo.com. As mentioned in my previous installment, my goal was to attempt eight tactics, and I did just that, correctly solving 8/8 of them! I was happy with my performance considering the slump I was in earlier.

Since eight does not seem like a large number, I will publish the eight tactics and my thought process since I really have nothing else to post. I hope you enjoy and maybe learn a thing or two about tactics! 

This tactic is special because it has it's own blog post! 

I hope you guys enjoyed the tactics like I did. I was going to analyze my games by tomorrow, though my weekend is pretty busy and I currently have a small fever, so I will delay that until next week. In the meantime, I hope to publish good quality analysis for my readers.
