Fair Play Update - March 2026

Hey everyone!

In March, there were 130k accounts closed for fair play violations. 18 of these closures were titled players, an uptick compared to recent months.

Pressing the report button matters!

When players push the report button, it almost always triggers us to automatically review certain elements of the reported player's games. If you feel your opponent may have been violating the fair play policy, please report them! We know it can sometimes feel like no action is being taken, but we are checking for several indicators that help us determine if a player was cheating and are working on more regular updates about action that we take from your reports. While we close the vast majority of cheaters proactively through our own systematic checks, your reports help us identify thousands of closures per month!
