Army Chess Variants. v1: Space Army

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I wrote a blog, so I apologize and try to make amends. Today we will talk about my new chess variant that played on classical board, but with  asymmetric and different position and pieces. Its only first version of my chess variant and in future I will create new piece as well (in plans), (board for future army variants wouldn't change)

#1. Space Army

Uses two orthodox pieces (pawns and kings, this will not be changed in future) and other pieces is self-created. Forgot to say, all other rules like in classical chess, but you can castle with star (option exclusively for white pieces).

Here is starting arrangement:

Black have FIDE (classical) army. White have pawns on 2nd row, King on e1, Stars in the corners, Mammoth (Elephant) on b1 and g1, Miner on c1 and f1, Lion on d1.

Note: White's king can castle with star.

Pieces Movement:

Lion (cannot jump, capture as well as movement on picture below)

Mammoth (Elephant) -  move and capture on image below

Star (cannot jump, move and capture on image below)

Miner. This one is tricky. Miner can move (but not capture!) on any open square on the board, but can capture three squares up only (look and photo below)

That's all. Hope you guys like this post. See in next blog!
