From July 7th-11th, 2014, Chess.com University hosted its first-ever and in fact, the world's first-ever online summer chess camp. This high-profile event gathered instructors from around the world to teach chess to an international audience.

Camp activity began around 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PDT) and went till about 4:30 PM PDT each day. This camp offered simuls with GM Valeriy Aveskulov and FM Dalton Perrine, student game analysis sessions, lectures from top instructors, the ability to email questions to GM Levan Aroshidze through our "Ask the Grandmaster" session, and the chance to interact with super-GM and 2012 Vice World Chess Champion Boris Gelfand! On top of that, students received a copy of the May 2014 issue of The Master's Bulletin as well as Chess.com shirts or coupons for chess coaching services. Most importantly, all students received video recordings of all the lectures and game analysis sessions! This means that students have the material forever and can review whenever they want to!

We know there are many Chess.com University members who wanted to attend this camp live but could not due to work or other obligations. Hence, we have made the video recordings available for purchase. Detailed information regarding the instructors and lecture topics is provided below.

Additionally, the option to purchase a video license is available. If you are a chess coach, leader of a chess club or federation, or run a chess-teaching organization, it is possible for you to purchase licenses for individual video recordings. What do we mean by a license? We simply mean that you may purchase the rights to show the video publically (in the classroom, at a chess club, etc.) during the time at which you hold the license.
