Rollercoaster

You've read enough of my complaints when I'm losing. And I didn't even show you this:

Now you'll just have to put up with my — well, mostly relief — when I win. Today I got a quick checkmate from a losing position that rocketed (?) my rating to 1308, which is an all-time high.

Not technically, because I hit 1416 during my first week on Chess.com, but it doesn't really count because I was nowhere near that level and simply benefited from a couple of blunderful opponents.

I can be pretty streaky, so I expect the rollercoaster to take a dip again. Speaking of which, who knew that getting your picture taken playing chess on amusement park rides was a thing?
