From 1500 to =2nd in the National Championship!
I promised I would share an inspiring chess improvement journey with you, so here's the most rapid improvement from our family of Chess Improvers!
Craig joined the Chess Improvement System in April, asking a lot of great questions in the group, studying my Grandmaster videos and sharing his games for valuable feedback from me and the other Chess Improvers. This more effective work paid quick dividends with an =2nd place in the Online Scottish Allegro Championship, as you can see below:

Here's one of Craig's wins from that event:
When Craig first joined our chess family, he was provisionally rated in the 1500s. However, in his next tournament result below, he performed at a nearly 2200 level!
In the last round, he needed a win against a 2350-rated FM to take the Scottish Championship title. The game ultimately ended in a draw, and you can study Craig's notes to this game below:
