Has the chess tournament of the year 2021 already been played?

My answer is: Yes, it's being played right now!

It's a tournament featuring over 100 of my American Facebook friends, and it's quite possible you've missed it, as it's been neatly hidden away between the action of the SuperBet Chess Classic and the Paris Rapid/Blitz event!
