Why 99% Of Youtube Videos Aren't Helping You

Let's be real here...

99% of the videos you're watching on Youtube right now are NOT helping you.

Why is that?

Is that the fault of the videos? The content creators?

Not necessarily...

The video below explains why.

In the video linked above, I share with you my negative results that I had when trying to implement advice in free Youtube videos (killing any positive momentum I had built).

I also share why you're generally not going to see results from learning things on Youtube for free.

But what does this have to do with chess?

Most chess players watch chess videos on Youtube - true or true?

The good news is, it's not your fault.

Youtube isn't designed to promote quality - in fact, the quality of the information presented isn't in the top TEN of things prioritized when Youtube considers what videos to show you.

It's focused on getting you to stay on the site as long as possible.

That doesn't mean that channels with a lot of subscribers don't have great "quality" content, it's just not the way the algorithm works.

But did you know that even the 1% of videos that will help you, won't really help you that much?

So, why won't you see results (for the most part) even from "helpful" videos?

One reason is, no video can fully understand the exact situation you are in.

No video can anticipate the mental or skill-based 'blockers' you have that will stop you following the process the way the 'rich' creators do.

No video can give you direct feedback on how you implemented an action.

And no free content can give you the commitment and necessity you need to achieve in some area at the highest levels.

What you get out of something is what you put into it.

And the way you are in your life, in turn, determines the people you'll attract in your life.
