(UPDATED) Ranking The Entire MCU
This is it. The moment you've all been waiting for... here it is:
THE ENTIRE MCU
RANKED
Eternals, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, Thor: Love And Thunder, and Deadpool & Wolverine not included. 💩
33. IRON MAN 3
To be honest, I should probably give this one another try, but in my opinion, this is the worst movie in the entire MCU. I didn't even finish it. I stopped right when Pepper was like "AGGGGGHHHHHHH" and being injected with that lava Extremis thing.
I also just thought that the overall plot was nothing but plain old dumb. Wow. Iron Man can't sleep. So what?! No one CARES. I was so excited for this movie and then I got 40 minutes in and was tempted to chuck the remote at the TV.
I love Jon Favreau, but this is just not my type.
32. BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER
I can't tell you how much I loved this movie. The first 45 minutes of it, that is. The beginning was actually SO. GOOD. I liked Ironheart, she was pretty cool, and I almost fell off my couch when I saw Martin Freeman came back for the sequel but then... it all just started to fall apart.
After Shuri got kidnapped or whatever, ( It's been a while... okay? ) there was like 0 action at all and I was bored out of my 💀 until suddenly, everyone just starts dying. ( L Shuri's mom )
The ending battle scene was weak and I didn't like how they almost made Shuri turn evil at the end. I could go on forever about how trash this movie was but I will say that I'm excited to see what they do with that kid we saw at the end of the movie. ( WOOHOO YOUNG AVENGERS! LET'S GOOOOOO!!! )
31. SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS
Too much darkness and mythical stuff imo, but we all love Morris. 😁 ( Full review: CLICK )
30. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER
When people look up what order they should watch the MCU in, this is almost always the first on the list... I just thought it was pretty mid, to be honest. 🤣
Hugo Weaving looked scarier BEFORE his face turned completely red and I'm still scarred for life from that part when the HYDRA guy like... bit down on his tooth... and started to froth from the mouth... or whatever. This movie's just not...
*Crickets Crickets*
Moving on!
29. THOR: THE DARK WORLD
This one was just so disappointing after watching the first film. A couple of funny parts, but there was really no point in this being in the MCU imo. ( jk it literally got us the Reality Stone but... that was really it lol 🤣 )
If you want a quick recap of this film, here it is: Loki dies for the 1,000,000th time, Jane almost dies, Darcy and this intern kid that we never see again in the MCU kiss, Erik acts like a mad-man the entire movie running around historical, ancient sites buck naked, and that's basically it.
Boom.
Just skip it.
28. CAPTAIN MARVEL
Yeah, Brie Larson might have been the absolute worst MCU casting choice of all time. 🤣🤣🤣
Too confusing, too boring, dumb story, I'm sorry...
27. IRON MAN 2
In between mid and good for me, just kinda thought that this one was pretty much the same exact thing as the first: someone steals his tech and uses it against him. 💩 ( ...but what do I know 🤣 )
26. THE INCREDIBLE HULK
VERY redundant but incredibly ( Wink Wink 😉 ) underrated. ( Full review: CLICK )
25. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
Wanda, Pietro, and Vision... what else happened in this movie? Oh, right! Robot alien things attack the city and the Avengers have to save it! That sounds a little familiar... 🤔🤔🤔
Pretty good movie, just a little forgettable. 💩
24. DOCTOR STRANGE
"Duarmamo, I've come to bargain."
...or something like that.
Also just a pretty good film that brings Marvel to a whole new level by adding a lot more fanciful things into it like portals, magic capes, and a really weird dude with really weird eyes that looks really weird and really scary... you get the point. ( Didn't watch Multiverse Of Madness cuz I heard it was like a horror movie??? 🤣🤣🤣 I might watch it in the distant future but definitely not anytime soon )
23. THE MARVELS
Went into it with very low expectations and I think that's actually the reason I thought it was pretty good in the end. 🤣
Why so much hate? And don't tell me it's because of-
22. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA
Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, VERY weird but an overall funny, new, MCU flick. ( I actually watched this movie almost RIGHT after I finished Loki, so that was pretty cool to see a new Kang variant and to see Bill Murray spawn in for about 60 seconds 🤣 idk what that has to do with anything, but whatever 😆 )
"It was really weird but there were a couple of parts that made us go 'ha-ha-ha'" - My dad at 11:30 PM after watching Ant-Man 3. 🤣
21. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2
Too much language and too much weird stuf, Baby Groot and Drax's laugh saved the day tho. 🤣
20. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
I remember LOVING it the first time around but the second? Pains me to say it, but I almost fell asleep. ( I'll try again soon 👍 )
19. FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS
I will not stop saying this: good, but not fantastic. 🤪🤪🤪 ( Full review: CLICK )
18. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP
It really does take 2 to make a thing go right.
*Crickets Crickets*
*Clears Throat*
Ant-Man is one of my favorite characters in the MCU and this movie was a little all over the place, but overall still pretty great.
17. IRON MAN
I watched The Avengers before I watched anything else and that has really come back to haunt me. 🤣
Anyways, awesome introduction to RDJ's legendary character, can't wait to see more of this guy.
OH WAIT. HE'S DEA-
16. THE AVENGERS
15. CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD
This was the first MCU movie I ever saw on the big screen... wow. ( Full review: CLICK )
14. BLACK PANTHER
Likable characters, such a cool plot. Loved Shuri ( A totally different person in the first movie and in the second ) Agent Ross, and Black Panther himself, but the thing I loved most about this movie was probably the action sequences on Earth and not on Wakanda. Sure, Wakanda is a really cool place but everything that happened outside of it in this one I thought was even cooler for some reason... I don't know why........................ I'm weird. 🤣
13. BLACK WIDOW
Probably the most intense movie in the entire MCU, but I don't care. 2 words: master, and piece. 🤣 ( Yelena and Red Guardian literally made this movie for me 😜 )
12. SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME
Thought this movie was absolute trash the first time I saw it: Aunt May died, everyone Peter ever knew forgot he existed, he chickened out of talking to MJ at the end, it was just............ terrible. But then I watched it again... and again... and again...
My view completely changed. The ending was perfect and could unlock SO many different possibilities for the MCU, AMAZING film.
11. AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
SUCH a good movie mostly because of the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and all the humor throughout, but it really could have been summed up in just one sentence:
Thanos has all the stones and people are disintegrating. ( Oh, and Gamora got thrown off a cliff by her own father hehe )
10. THOR
I couldn't believe my eyes when I first finished this movie.
I went into it expecting it to be this really weird and dark film about this muscular dude that's really strong and has a hammer; but I was laughing my head off almost the entire time. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MOVIE WITH AMAZING CHARTERS AND AMAZING ACTORS AND AMAZING PLOT AND AMAZING EVERYTHING.
*Clap Clap Clap*
9. THOR: RAGNAROK
Peak MCU, bro.
Better than the first one?
They achieved the impossible.
8. THUNDERBOLTS*/*THE NEW AVENGERS
RIP Taskmaster. ☠🪦 ( Full review: CLICK )
7. SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME
Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man. He plays the character SO well and is just simply a great actor even outside of Marvel. So when it comes to Nick Fury hijacking his class field trip, he's at his finest. VERY entertaining plot with so many great, new characters, this movie's 🔥.
6. AVENGERS: ENDGAME
Let me just start off by saying I watched this entire 3-hour-long movie straight through in one night without falling asleep in the middle of it, so, yeah... that was pretty awesome.
There were SO many things I loved about this film: we got a look closer at Hawkeye and his family, ( I mean, the movie LITERALLY STARTED with him ) Thanos's head being chopped off within the first 2 minutes of the movie, Ant-Man being the one who started the whole Time Heist in the first place, and of course, the Guardians Of The Galaxy. There was probably no better way to cap off the Infinity Saga than with this movie, so... well done Marvel!
*Salutes then realizes that everything post-blip is terrible except for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 hehe*
AND NOW... FOR YOUR TOP 5...
5. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
4. ANT-MAN
Baskin Robbins always finds out.
3. CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR
You know, all we really need are some Spidey quotes for this one:
"I don't know if you've been in a fight before but there's usually not this much talking" - Falcon
"Oh right, sorry, my bad." - Spidey
"YOU HAVE A METAL ARM?! THAT'S SO COOL, DUDE!" - Spidey
*Points to Captain America's shield*
"That thing does not obey the laws of physics at all." - Spidey
2. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
Word.
1. SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING
#1 best movie in the MCU, #6 in the entire world. Like I said, Tom Holland IS the best Spider-Man. 😎 ( I'm sorry Kiki, but what I liked about Tom Holland's series is that it didn't focus on how he was bitten or him trying to navigate his powers or anything like that, but instead, it took place AFTER all that and I think that was a very interesting and bold choice on Marvel's part and one of the many, many, many reasons why this movie was so good )
...yes.
Oh, and one more thing...
I am Iron Man.
@Jehtt will return...
