Best Movie Of 2024: PART ONE ( According To The Box Office And According To Me )
Happy New Year, y'all. I did it last year, so I'm doing it again. I proudly present, for the second time in a row:
THE BEST MOVIE OF 2024 ( According To The Box Office And According To Me )
In today's blog, I will be reviewing 19 movies from 2024. Some good, some bad. Please note a few things:
- These reviews are based off the box office and my own opinion
- Some reviews will be shorter than others; for example, the Young Woman And The Sea review is literally 5 words long
- I've already reviewed a few of these movies in my "2024: The Review So Far..." BLOG, so go check that out as well
- There is one more movie I have not watched yet ( The Forge ) so I will make a septate blog on it
- These are only movies that I HAVE SEEN; I know there are a LOT other blockbuster films that came out this year like Dune: Part Two, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Joker 2 but in today's blog I will only be ranking the new movies I saw; this means that towards the end of this blog when I am ranking movies based on the box office, there might be a higher grossing movie that I just haven't seen or there might be a lower budget movie that I just haven't seen; please keep that in mind as you continue
With all that being said, let's go! Enjoy!
KUNG FU PANDA 4
BUDGET- $85 Million
PROFIT- $547.7 Million
Yeah, some of the jokes were kinda dumb but I thought this movie was pretty good! Most people thought this was the last straw like these guys:
But I think Dreamworks did a fine job with their 4th sequel. But, I will say, the fact that they didn't bring the Furious Five back and made up some stupid stories of where they were in the meantime was super lazy writing.
Notes: ( Besides the one I just said )
- Bunny Tavern scene was fun
- Goose dads, panda dads... 🤦♂️
- I know it's just for fun, but the whole "Double Dads" thing was really stupid; they didn't need to make such a big deal out of it... I mean, nobody thought ANYTHING about it in Kung Fu Panda 3 but they HAD to make it seen in this one
- The "Violence makes our tummies tingle" line was delivered VERY differently from how it was in all the trailers
- Last scene of the movie with Shifu meditating or whatever was a very unsatisfying way to end it, IMO
Also, I don't think I'm comfortable with Awkwafina being the new Dragon Warrior... just saying.
GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE
BUDGET- $100 Million
PROFIT- $202 Million
Great sequel. SO much better than Afterlife. The entire vibe of the movie was so much more upbeat and fun. ( I haven't even seen the originals 😂 )
THE FALL GUY
BUDGET- $125-150 Million
PROFIT- $180-181 Million
AWESOME movie. Garbage truck fight was 👌 and Tom Ryder blowing up at the end of the movie was literally the best thing they could have possibly ever done to his character. 😂 I only have one note since this movie was pretty near perfect: parts of the trailer were not in the final film. I have not seen the Extended Edition so IDK where those parts went, but whatever. The movie was amazing. That's all you need to know.
IF
BUDGET- $110 Million
PROFIT- $190.3 Million
As I said in 2024 Review So Far blog, this movie was NOTHING of what I expected. It didn't have a villain, there was only like ONE action scene, and it was very slow to start. BUT, I still love this movie. Blue was hilarious, the cast was packed, and I may or may not have even cried a little bit... I did. Awesome movie.
THE GARFIELD MOVIE
BUDGET- $60 Million
PROFIT- $257 Million
"Good movie but most of the jokes were pretty dumb and the overall film could have been so much better than it really was."
- "2024... The Review So Far..."
Nothing has changed.
- Otto and that Pig's relationship was so weird I couldn't believe I was watching "The Garfield Movie"
- All the sentimental stuff was so un-Garfield-like; I could literally picture this entire movie starring totally different characters, and still do fine in the Box Office
Also, Why were there so many Tom Cruise references? This is not a Paramount movie...
YOUNG WOMAN AND THE SEA ( DISNEY+ )
BUDGET- Unknown ( Disney+ Release )
PROFIT- $581,725 ( Disney+ Release )
Great movie. Surprisingly funny, too.
INSIDE OUT 2
BUDGET- $200 Million
PROFIT- $1.699 Billion
Another surprisingly good movie. From the second the trailer was released, my expectations were already below 0 and it wasn't until a few days before the movie came out that I started to get excited. There were so many rumors that it was gonna be full of Disney agenda but surprisingly, they shot all of them down. From all of Riley's Canadian boyfriends, to Lance Slashblade. I'm not sure anyone thought it would ever happen, but this movie surpassed the first. By a LOT. Such an amazing idea. Executed in such an amazing way.
pouchy is still so sigma
DESPICABLE ME 4
BUDGET- $100 Million
PROFIT- $969 Million
"I liked the movie but the whole cockroach thing was just so stupid that it ruined a LOT for me. ( Also the fact that Dr. Nefario came back at the end for 5 seconds is not even physically possible because he died in the third movie, so... 💩 )"
- "2024... The Review So Far..."
Nothing has changed.
The Mega Minions were fun and there were a few funny parts but IDK... it was a little too weird for me. This is coming from DM's biggest fan to ever live: give it a rest, guys. Go make 3 more Mario movies. I don't care. Just take a break from the Minions for at least a year... Or 5.
HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON
BUDGET- $40 Million
PROFIT- $26.3 Million
Some parts make you wonder what the heck you're watching but I personally really liked this movie. Very underrated.
YOU GOTTA BELIEVE
BUDGET- Unknown
PROFIT- $1.4 Million
Another not very well-known movie... and that's probably a good thing. This movie was just DEPRESSING. I don't know WHY they would make a film based off of this story. By the end it all, I felt like I had wasted 1 hour and 44 minutes of my life I would never get back. There was no victory. There was no joy. The movie ended ( Spoiler Alert ) with the main character DEAD. Sure, it had its laughable moments but... come on... this movie could have been so much better.
TWISTERS
BUDGET- $155 Million
PROFIT- $371 Million
COPIED FROM "Twisters: Movie Review"-
---------------------------------
Twister
noun
Meaning: a tornado
I've been wanting to see Twisters for a very long time but with school and all, everyone was just way too busy. And then, on the last week of it showing in theaters, I saw it... and absolutely loved it. It's a fun-filled thriller about a 26-year-old girl who is what people call a "Storm Chaser". ( She chases down tornadoes )
This movie was SO good that I watched it again 3 days later. The acting was very believable, the thrills were INSANE, and the overall plot was very entertaining and interesting.
The opening scene got me so hooked I literally dropped my popcorn. The part when we first meet Tyler is fun, the scene when Kate and Javi are planting the scanners is cool, when they're at the rodeo and go into the empty pool for shelter was probably my favorite part with that guy getting swept away in the truck. When Kate and Tyler are at her mom's house is nice, and the part when they test her experiment again is also really fun. LOVED the ending; when the screen just completely rips off is SO CRAZY. 😮
But let's talk about Glen Powell for a second; mark my words: Glen Powell is going to be the next Tom Cruise. The first time I saw him was in Hidden Figures as John Gleen. Then, Top Gun 2, Devotion, Anybody But You, and then Twisters; but I have a feeling we are going to be seeing more and more of him in the future.
ANYWAYS, this movie was absolutely awesome, you should go watch it now.
---------------------------------
UPDATE: I got to watch it 2 more times. Second time was even better and for some reason the third time wasn't as good. ( It might be because I watched it 3 times within the time span of about 1 month )
TRANSFORMERS ONE
BUDGET- $75-147 Million
PROFIT- $129.4 Million
COPIED FROM "Transformers One: Movie Review"-
---------------------------------
AUTOBOTS, ROLL OUT!
*Crickets Crickets* *Clears Throat* Sorry.
Welcome back to Jetplane Movies! Today I will be reviewing the brand new Transformers movie: Transformers One. Transformers One was INSANELY good. It was everything I expected: funny, adventurous, and even a little intense. But of course, the movie wasn't perfect. I put together a short list of things I noticed about the film:
- The first 20 minutes were a little boring
- The different cities and planets were really confusing
- Bumblebee was really funny in this movie but not in the other ones
- The film would have been PG-13 in a hot second if it wasn't animated
The first 20 minutes were a little boring- The first 20 minutes of the movie was really just growing Orion and D-16's relationship so it was a little boring. I liked the race and all the humor but by the end of those first few scenes you start to ask yourself... what did we just get from that?
The different cities and planets were really confusing- I didn't understand the whole thing with Cybertron and all of the other cities, planets, and villages. There were... a LOT.
Bumblebee was really funny in this movie but not in the other ones- Why was Bumblebee so funny in this movie but so SAD and lonely in the other ones? My guess is because of Keegan-Michael Key. He's such a funny guy and I don't think he's ever played an actually SERIOUS character in any movie... ever.
The film would have been PG-13 in a hot second if it wasn't animated- I was actually quite surprised by the violence in this movie. I mean, a guy gets his head chopped off. A guy gets ripped in half. A guy gets the top of his arm cut off. The side of a guy's face blows up. A guy falls into infinite darkness... you get the point. The movie would DEFINITELY be PG-13 if it was live-action. ( The reason they made it animated was probably so they would get more kids to watch the Transformers movies which leads to more fans which leads to more money which leads to more sequels which leads to more prequels which leads to more TV shows which leads to more....... did I say money? )
This movie was AMAZING. But where does it stand along with the other Transformers movies? I've only seen the prequels: Bumblebee, Rise Of The Beasts, and ( Of course ) Transformers One.
Bumblebee is such a great movie and it's not just because I have a crush on Hailee Steinfeld. This movie was funny, cool, and action-packed... just like Transformers One. Bumblebee is so adorable and I just love him....... so much.
Rise Of The Beasts was pretty good. Definitely not as good as Bumblebee or Transformers One but it was still good. Mirage was really the only thing keeping me alive during this movie. He was hilarious and full of jokes.
I think Transformers One is just a TEENY TINY bit better than Bumblebee.
The reason I haven't seen any of the other Transformers movies yet is because I realized that all the movies were probably gonna end up being the exact same thing but COMMENT BELOW IF I SHOULD WATCH THE REST OF THEM!
This movie was awesome and I can't wait to watch it again!
---------------------------------
UPDATE: I watched it for a second time and loved it even better.
THE WILD ROBOT
BUDGET- $78 Million
PROFIT- $324.3 Million
COPIED FROM "The Wild Robot: Movie Review"-
---------------------------------
I didn't think I would ever see this movie but... here we are.
When I first saw the trailer, ( Which was almost the second it came out because I am way too much of a movie nerd ) I thought it looked really cool but................. depressing.
Then after the 600th time the trailer aired on TV, I finally said: "Okay, this looks dumb."
...and then I ended up watching it the next week.
I liked the overall movie, but I have a lot of picky, movie critic things I have to say about it:
- The little gosling Brightbill's training seemed like it was rushed over
- The ending was very abrupt and could have much better
- Sound effects were lame
- Bad messages
Brightbill's training was rushed over- If you watched the trailer, you probably thought ( Like me ) the entire movie was going to be about a robot who teaches a newborn gosling how to live a good life... but then you sit down and watch it and find out that his training only takes up 6 minutes of the film. It's like the gosling ate a couple of worms and then grew 15 years older. It just seemed like lazy writing because I think we needed to see more of his training. It could have added a lot more to the plot.
Abrupt ending- ( SPOILERS AHEAD IN NEXT FEW SENTENCES 😂 ) At the end of the movie when Roz leaves the forest and goes to the plants lab ( Or whatever that was ) Brightbill randomly pops out of a bush... WHAT!? The ending was just so CHEESY. I don't think Roz and Brightbill should have ended up with each other in the end. It kind of ruined the whole point of Roz leaving in the first place. The film should have ended with her watching a flock of goslings fly off into the sky............ and then the credits started to roll. We didn't need them to reunite. If it had ended the way I said it should have, it would have left room for the audience to dream up what happens next instead of it all just HAPPENING in the last 10 seconds. ( None of that probably made any sense at all )
Sound effects were lame- I know this is gonna sound SUPER picky but it felt like the sound effects were really bad. Here's some examples:
- When one of those bad robots with the lasers spun his sword around really fast, it wasn't making any noise
- When the otters at the beginning jumped into the water, it sounded like a teeny tiny drip instead of a big SPLASH
- When the raccoons were climbing up Roz, they weren't making almost ANY noise
...you get the point. Am I being too picky about this? Comment below! 😂
Bad messages- "fOlloW yOuR hEArT".................... no. Just........... stop......... please...
I liked this movie a lot. ( Besides those 4 things I noted ) I really would want to see it for a second time and I do recommend it to anyone who... likes... movies...............................
Or just anyone.
---------------------------------
UPDATE: I watched it for a second time and loved it even better.
THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER
BUDGET- $10 Million
PROFIT- $38.7 Million
This movie ( Like The Fall Guy ) was pretty near perfect as well. Awesome movie. 1,000,000x better than the original 1983 film. So much better, the the original was wiped off of the face of the Earth almost entirely. Of course I still got the DVD because I'm @Jehtt, but that doesn't matter. It was also NOTHING like The Chosen even though it was directed by the same Dallas Jenkins. ( I'm kinda terrified of that show TBH ) I was expecting it to be funny but also have a Chosen kinda vibe but it really didn't.
Good clean fun even after the Christmas season.
RED ONE
BUDGET- $200–$250 Million
PROFIT- $184.9 Million
Besides the language, I was quite surprised by this movie. It's literally the stupidest movie plot ever created. ( Completely ignoring "Dear Santa" *Cough Cough* )
I had a few notes but if I'm gonna be completely honest, after watching it for a second time, they all sort of faded away. I don't think this movie was made as much for the money as it was for the laughs.
Pretty great movie!
WICKED
BUDGET- $150 Million
PROFIT- $653 Million ( As of January 4th, 2025 )
https://www.chess.com/blog/Jetplanemovies/wicked-movie-review
Just read my review... I can't do this anymore. 😂
MOANA 2
BUDGET- $150 Million
PROFIT- $914.1 Million ( As of January 4th, 2025 )
COPIED FROM "Moana 2: Movie Review"-
---------------------------------
I'm just gonna state the obvious: Moana 2 does not seem like a Disney movie AT ALL. 8 YEARS they've been working on it, and they still can't make it as good as the first.
Sigh...................... we might want to hop to the notes because there's a LOT to cover:
Matangi and Nalo felt very un-Disney/Moana-like- This part kind of surprised me. The villain of Moana 2, Matangi, was rumored to be the first Disney villain in a LONGGGG time to bring out Disney's old ways. You're probably wondering, "What the heck does 'Disney's old ways' mean"? I mean like the Evil Queen, Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella De Vil... I think you get the point.
- The Kakamora becoming friends with Moana/crew was very unsatisfying- From the first movie, the Kakamora are really goofy killer coconuts who are trying to steal the Heart. But in this movie, they're all so nice to Moana and not even that funny... I mean, come on. What the heck?!
- "Cheeeehoooooo" was WAY too overused- I mean, they literally made a whole song about it just for a few more stacks of money, I guess...
- Unlike the first Moana, there were almost NO low points of the movie until the VERY, VERY end...- I watched the first Moana movie for like the 60th time just a couple hours before watching the new one and I very quickly realized how many times Maui is depressed and mad at Moana. In this movie, it seems the complete opposite. During the lowest point of the movie, right before fighting Nalo, Maui suddenly breaks out into song and then: BOOM, everyone's ready to go... huh???
- Post-credits scene was STUPID- Nalo was ugly as poop 😶🌫 ...and just the sound of a Moana 3 is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dumb that it all just goes to show how un-creative Disney is getting... or already is. 🙄
- Tamatoa's cameo was so amazing, ngl- The only good part of the post-credits scene. 🤪
- Songs felt very forced- I can't really picture any of these becoming hits like the originals ( It's all because Lin-Manuel Miranda wasn't there to work on it 😉 )
- Jokes/other Moana references throughout the movie ALSO felt very forced; ( Examples: Heihei screaming at sea, Maui saying "You're Welcome", "CHEEEEHOOOOOO", "Boat Snack", etc. )
- The whole thing with "There's Always Another Way" or whatever was straight out of Finding Dory, cuh...- smh... Disney's recycling old movie messages, now... what's next? Even more evil queens with poison apples?
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
- Moana dying, bludddddd 😂- I could not with the whole "bringing her back to life" thing. It was just so awkward and stupid that ( This is gonna sound absolutely TERRIBLE but, it needs to be said 😂 ) the movie probably would have rolled along better if she had just DIED.
- Moana becoming a demigod and getting a tattoo was just so weird 😒- To make Moana's revival scene even WORSE, Disney decided it would be a good idea to make her a demigod. 🙄 This did nothing but make me even more furious and depressed about the sequel.
- The plot was literally IDENTICAL to Frozen II- Hear me out...
Moana gets a call from her ancestors | Elsa gets a call from her mom
Moana sets out on a mission to reconnect her people again | Elsa sets out on a mission to find the voice and ends up bringing all the people in "The Unknown" together again
Moana goes "Beyond" | Elsa goes "Into The Unknown"
Moana becomes a demigod | Elsa becomes 50x more powerful than she was before 😂
So, there you have it.
I didn't have my hopes up TOO high for this movie and by the end of the film, I thought it was fine but compared to the FIRST ONE, it was nothing.
MUFASA: THE LION KING
BUDGET- $200 Million
PROFIT- $365 Million ( As of January 4th, 2025 )
Don't ask me why, but I had super high expectations for this movie. I loved the "I Always Wanted A Brother" song that I heard in all the trailers, and it looked like a fun movie.
But then I actually watched it.
I was so disappointed I barely said a word after leaving the theater. Here is my... very long list of notes:
- "I Always Wanted A Brother", "Bye-Bye", "We Go Together", and "Brother Betrayed" were fantastic... all the others? Not so much...- They got Lin Manuel and yet a few of the songs were still kind of a let down
- Literally 2 hours of National Geographic- From the wise words of @nbrasington
- Disney tried too hard to make it as good as the original ( It didn't work )- I saw it coming, I just didn't think it would be THIS bad
- Nobody wanted to see another animated Lion King and nobody wanted to see another live-action Lion King- Why do I even try anymore...
- Interesting backstory, this just seems like a total "What If...?" situation- Nobody ever once thought this is how it all happened ( Which I guess is the point but still... why did they have to make it so complicated? )
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
- The fact that the "betrayal" was over a girl was so freaking dumb- I was expecting maybe like a death of a loved one or something but NOPE! It was over Sarabi.
- After Mufasa and Taka were sent out from their pack, the movie just started to go downhill so hard- I didn't even understand why they were sent out exactly but then the movie just started to repeat itself OVER AND OVER: Mufasa and Taka get into a fight with the Outsiders continue on with their journey; Mufasa and Taka get into a fight with the Outsiders continue on with their journey; Mufasa and Taka get into a fight with the Outsiders continue on with their journey until they FINALLY find Pride Rock and then fight the Outsiders again and win; THE END.
- In "Brother Betrayed", after seeing that Mufasa rizzing up Sarabi, Taka/Scar says: "You know I love her, my brother... there's nothing we keep from each other... I saved your life this is how you repay me?"...what is he freaking talking about. Mufasa literally gave up SO MUCH so he could be with her. Sarabi came to Mufasa. HOW MUCH HAS HE DONE FOR YOU, HUH?! HE DOESN'T NEED TO REPAY YOU WITH ANYTHING.
- Mufasa and Scar's relationship after they "betrayed" each other was very unclear- After "Brother Betrayed", Scar turns on Mufasa, Sarabi, Rafiki, and Zazu. He goes to Kiros and joins their side. Then, later, when Mufasa is about to be killed at Kiros's paws, he jumps in front of Mufasa and saves his life. ( Which is how he got his scar ) Then after THAT, they all gather at Pride Rock, and for some reason, even after having a change of heart and saving Mufasa's life, Scar is still very resentful of him. So Mufasa just banishes him and that's the end if the dang movie. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MOVIE?! THEY HAD 2 FREAKING HOURS TO CLEAR ALL THIS UP AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE MOVIE ENDS IN 60 SECONDS. I quit. IT'S AS IF THEY RAN OUT OF TIME IN THE ETERNITY THAT THEY HAD TO MAKE IT.
- The way Pride Rock just conveniently fell perfectly into place at the end of the movie was such lazy writing- 🤦♂️
- Disney could have just taken the first 30 minutes of the movie and made it into a short prequel/holiday special that only showed Mufasa and Taka's young life- That's literally all we needed to know bc the viewers get to think up how Scar gets his scar and how they find Pride Rock and how Mufasa gets together with Sarabi, etc. That's part of the fun. Dreamworks did it with "How To Train Your Dragon: Homecoming" and it worked out just fine! I loved that movie! You don't need to make every single stinking movie coming out nowadays 3 hours long like Endgame. Nobody wants that. ( Unless it actually is a Marvel movie; then that's fine )
- "fOlloW yOuR hEArT"- Oh, please... to make the movie even worse, throw some stupid agenda in there! That'll show 'em!
- I might have just zoned out or something bc I couldn't figure out for the LIFE of me who Kiros's dead son was and how Mufasa might have killed him 😂- COMMENT BELOW WHO THE FREAK THAT IS!
- The fact that the movie didn't open ( Or even END ) with the iconic sunset and "AHHHHHZABENYAAAA" was mildly disappointing 😂- Was anyone else disappointed? COMMENT BELOW!
- Oddly violent for a stupid Lion King movie- I don't need to explain. Go watch it if you still care even after everything I just said.
- Abrupt ending- I also don't need to explain this one either. Go watch it if you still care even after everything I just said.
- Moana 2 & Mufasa: The Lion King's release dates were not even a month apart- Did Disney know this movie would flop? Is that why they put the two dates so close together? They left SO much time in between Inside Out 2 and Moana 2... what do you think? COMMENT BELOW!
*Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh* Had such high hopes.
It won't happen again.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3
BUDGET- $122 Million
PROFIT- $285.9 Million ( As of January 4th, 2025 )
Woah. I mean... WOAH.
I was not expecting this movie to be so good.
I did NOT really like Sonic 2 so going into this movie... TBH, I didn't know WHAT to think. I had waited 2 years just for a TRAILER so actually being in the theater was awesome. BUT, I did still have some notes:
- Agent Stone makes me sick- I think we got another Jeff Goldblum in here... the entire storyline with Stone was so stupid and cheesy. Nobody wanted that.
- Team Sonic's mission was rushed into WAY too fast- 1 second their making s'mores. The next, they're in a G.U.N. helicopter and Tom and Maddie seem to just let them run off. 😂
- Why would Shadow destroy the lab just to ride back to it 10 minutes later?- He breaks out, blows up a few cars, and then zooms right back down to the place he LITTERALLY just broke out of. Huh?
- Rachel is so awesome- I'm so glad she came back even for just a few minutes. I didn't really like her in the first ( It has been a while tho ) but in the second one, it was a whole other story... iykyk
- Ben Schwartz was a bad pick for Sonic, IMO- He seems to deliver every single one of his lines the same exact way. I liked him live-action in Flora & Ulysses but... I dunno... I just feel like there could have been someone better...
- Where was the Master Emerald in between the end of Sonic 2 and the end of Knuckles?- Obviously Wade couldn't have had it because Knuckles didn't REALLY trust him until the END of the show so... where was it? Was it even mentioned in Knuckles? ( I can't remember and yet I have a "young mind" 😂 )
- Mid-Credits scene vibe was not as it should have been- I don't really know how to explain it... I feel like they just kinda rushed the Mid-Credits scene. It was very sloppy and Sonic wouldn't stop TALKING so I couldn't really take in what was happening... I dunno. Am I being to picky about this? I mean that scene literally set up Sonic 4.................................................. did anyone else feel this way? COMMENT BELOW!
- Too many "We're gonna make it! We're gonna make it! WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT!" jokes- ...mostly by Sonic 😉
- "Women in the military" joke was diabolical- I literally died in the theater when he said that. 😂😂😂 HOW DO THEY STILL HAVE ALL THESE JOKES UP THEIR SLEEVE!?! 😂😂😂
- This really was a "golden script"- Bro retired then came back just for this movie all so he could be told to play 2 Robotnik's... I guess they didn't wanna miss their last opportunity with Jim Carrey frfr 😂
- They really need to keep some people dead bro- Shadow, Dr. Robotnik ( 2 deaths ), Tom, Sonic, etc.
- The General's death was very poorly written and acted- It was also very rushed over as well
- My thoughts on Sonic 4- I haven't played any of the games and yet I already know that Paramount is gonna keep running down the line of characters, villains, and plots until we reach Sonic The Hedgehog 29 or something stupid like that 😂
AMAZING threequel, can't wait for 4!
Actually, if I'm gonna be completly honest, I think I've had my fair share of supersonic fast blue alien hedgehogs from another planet blowing up other supersonic fast blue alien hedgehogs from another planet for at least a couple years. 😂
So... now that you know where I stand on all these movies, it's time to rank them. Let's start with the Box Office.
LOWEST BUDGET OF 2024- The Best Christmas Pageant Ever ( $10 Million )
LOWEST PROFIT OF 2024- You Gotta Belive ( 1.4 Million ) EXCLUDING "YOUNG WOMAN AND THE SEA" ( DISNEY+ RELEASE )
HIGHEST BUDGET OF 2024- Red One/Inside Out 2 ( $200-250 Million / $200 Million )
HIGHEST PROFIT OF 2024/THE BEST MOVIE OF 2024 ACCORDING TO THE BOX OFFICE-
INSIDE OUT 2 ( $1.699 Billion )
Inside Out 2 wins the award with a mind-boggling $1.699 BILLION dollars. This movie is very special and very interesting. Much better than the first. If you haven't already, you should go watch it soon.
NOW. It's time to do something a little different than last year... instead of just announcing my favorite movie of 2024, this time, I will be awarding each movie with a unique award and yes, one of them will be "The Best Movie Of 2024".
...but you're gonna have to wait 4 days for part 2. 🤪
