Elio Original Trailer Breakdown & Reaction

I believe Disney & Pixar's "Elio" would have soared at the box office if the filmmakers had done just one thing:

Tell their fans the truth.

2 years ago, they released the first teaser trailer for the film since the original date was set for March of 2024:

I don't remember liking this trailer when it first came out, but then they changed EVERYTHING in the final film... so fast forward to present day, I was kinda forced to like it since they changed so much... but the more I think about, the more mad I get. Pixar should have stuck with THIS original storyline, not the one they just sent out.

So, even though it's too late and this movie already became like the second biggest box office bomb of the entire year, I will now be breaking down the original trailer above, sharing my thoughts on everything, and pointing out all the differences from this movie:

I am seriously classifying these as different films. 🤣🤣🤣

• "In 2024..."
  Uh-oh; red flags already 🤣🤣🤣
• Don't think Elio called Olga while the whole "bring us your leader" thing was going on in the final film ( I don't even think he had a phone in the final film 🤣 )
• Yo do you know what this image below shows us 🤯

OLGA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ELIO'S MOM IN THE ORIGINAL STORYLINE AND HER HUSBAND WAS THE ONE THAT KICKED THE 🪣 ( Why would that actually have been like 100x better tho 💩 )

*Clears Throat*

• His phone is like a bunny, beaver thing...
  Hoppers??? 🤔🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨🧐🧐🧐

• No Camp Carver?
• "This is new..." 👇🤣

iykyk... but even then it's still kinda confusing... I make 0 sense sometimes 🤗

• The sound effect right before he was beamed up:
  THE ENTITY?!?!?! ( lol 🤣 )
• Bro... Elio didn't want to get abducted in this alternate universe teaser trailer 🤣 ( THIS MOVIE SERIOUSLY HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE ENTIRE STORYLINEEEEEEEEEEEEE 😆 )
• Y'all... Grigon was originally not a villain... he was already on the Communiverse council or whatever

Now, I know what you're thinking: "If Grigon wasn't originally supposed to be the bad guy, then what would the plot have been like?" ( I just know those were the exact words you were thinking of right in that moment 🤣 ) Well, it would have been super simple: Elio had to fake he was the leader of "uh-Earth" and do... something... after that... ( Bruv, don't judge me this was a 2 minute teaser trailer for a basically entirely scrapped storyline for a trash movie that was postponed an entire year just so the filmmakers could make it 50x more trash 💩😆 )

*Crickets Crickets*

Sorry 'bout that; we're almost done 🤣🤣🤣

• The last part of the trailer where we see Elio talking with Grigon was actually a kinda funny scene ( Whole bit was very Jermaine Clements, Tamatoa-like; so sigma ) And guess what... it WASN'T IN THE FINAL FILM

  Excuse me...
  Yeah, uhhhh... it... wasn't in the final film 😁
  *cOuGh cOuGh*
