Zootopia 2 Movie Review
Almost 10 years ago, Disney introduced the world of Zootopia. The movie was about Nick Wilde, a sly fox, and Judy Hopps, a dumb bunny, discovering predators going savage, finding clues, and taking down some bad guys. This movie, the sequel to the film I just spoke about, followed Nick and Judy trying to save a snake’s family while trying to become better partners and form a stronger relationship.
I think you can guess which one I thought was better. 😉🤣
PLEASE don't get me wrong, I thought this one was fine, just sort of... not too close in ranking with the first one. 😆

- There were so many new characters that had such big roles that I sort of felt like Disney was just trying to erase the first movie and start something new... which goes along with a lot of the following points... 🤣
- This one was a lot cheesier at times like the whole Z-Bros thing and Gary’s family...
- Surprisingly, the therapy animal was not a twist villain! (Not to brag, but I saw Pawbert’s betrayal from like 20 miles away heh heh)
- Like I suspected, they scrapped the mysterious character at the end of the teaser... what do y'all think that could have been? Cuz if it was a human, that's a pretty big thing to scrap... COMMENT BELOW!
- I feel like they rushed this movie a lot, so it was really all over the place at many different parts (At the very beginning, the Disney intro was cut short... why? So they can make it exactly one minute shorter than the first one? 🤣 Just even more proof that this movie was rushed: they rushed the opening titles 😆)
- I thought for sure that Mayor Bellwether breaking out of jail would set up a third movie like the Bad Guys 2 and Professor Marmalade but NOPE! There was a post-credits scene that made me want to cry; BIRDS?! What are they gonna do after that??? Cheerleaders, zombies, werewolves, aliens, and vampires?
*Crickets Crickets* - After the emotional scene where Nick and Judy started dumping out all their insecurities, I thought that was the end of the movie... but then they launched into the actual climax (Or… supposedly the climax cuz there wasn’t really any action 🤣)
- The score throughout the movie was really odd to me... almost like none of it went along with the actual movie 😆 (But of course, that's not including Shakira's new song, Zoo; I'm gonna need that new version that played at the end on Spotify now 🤣)
It was good, just not what I expected from a Zootopia movie. Maybe the third one, though... 🤣 jk I really hope Disney waits like 30 years on that; maybe we'll get a live-action Zootopia beforehand? 😆
