Reti Opening-Prep-Bit-#1
My Reti Opening-prep-bit-#1
- So hey guys, I am as of now , an advanced-intermediate kind of a player, so already I am in the stage where analysis start to go a bit deeper and you start looking forward to openings and all, mostly I like doing opening experiments online and gaining experience from it and then build some theory based on it, and then step forward to reading books and find where you were less or more precise. OR you can also say I am bit too lazy reading books .
I have just been experimenting this 1.Nf3 , Reti and KIA stuff in OTB practice and also in online chess since a while, and since its been like a decent thing to go with, I thought about sharing it to people with this blog - Went ahead, I did the analysis of the opening I played and did my annotation mostly based on my experience and feel of the game, which I have attached here.
Annotation was pretty necessary so that even some lower rated , around 1300-1400 can also understand, I hope this is also helpful to rating slabs as high as 2000-2100 (CHESSCOM RATING)
I have tried to keep the language as understandable as possible, moreover, I have also kept the analytic signs and symbols
However, I have not been able to figure out how to arrange the variations in a decent way, maybe its not possible, however I have tried to keep a constant flow of the language irrespective of mess of variations so that it gets understandable
NOTE:- hence I would like to prefer you all to try not to go with the variations and major lines directly rather, follow the annotation line by line from the beginning
also, keep in mind that you can always click on the analysis button in the bottom left to directly open it in a different page and customize it as per your preferences
you can also download the pgn and use it with some pgn viewer or even chessbase - There you go:-
- To simplify:- you can take it as:- This gives us such a structure to black where he is lured to making mistakes and hence if white is super-aware he has a high chance of taking away the game, AND if black remains silent, the game will remain equal and then the one who shows better technique will take it
This is just a detailed analysis of 2nd move, well probably just 60-70% of sensible variations are covered, but i guess this much of information is decent enough to grasp at a time for a decent chess player. I will be coming with more analysis on this and other opening-prep-bits, will try to make it till 4th or 5th move variations, however, i am not sure if I will cover ALL of it, but rather I'd try to focus on the most possible/probable moves and enter those lines
Also not all of these lines are Reti or KIA in particular, they keep transforming, and do keep in mind, this is not mainline Reti, these are the structures that show much similarity to KIA and other sidelines of Reti, its just that i kept the name simple and memorable, I will however will be going for the mainline Reti as well at some point. - I am planning to do such stuff kind of regularly, lemme know in the comments if you liked it and what kind of openings would you like me to discuss
i will also make forums where we can analyze together and also plan what to do in upcoming blogs
if i get more positive reponses, then I am planning to increase the frequency and content - You can support me and my blogs by following me on chess.com:- click on follow
