[Puzzle Road] Did you think I gave my queen? (P35)

Welcome to Puzzle Road!
Here we have a puzzle where we could first think that White is losing because of the pin on the e-column. But we can play a brilliant great excellent beautiful move to win the game! Indeed, the black king is less protected, we have the bishop pair attacking the opponent’s king and our queen controls a few squares.
This is a magnific example to show that tactics are everywhere (in lost positions too!) The queen is pinned, true, the king has not castled, true, but we win because of the activity of our pieces and the f-column that’s open.
35/ Did you think I gave my Queen? (Topic: out of the pin)
First move: Bishop x f7 (!!)
Indeed, we sacrifice the Bishop on the castle, to open it and start an attack. Furthermore, the black king is forces to take it, because he does not have any other square to go!
Second move: Rook f1!
Excellent move! If we sacrifice a piece for an attack, we need to use a new one to checkmate. We bring the rook and check the king, who’s forced to come back on g8, with this time a destroyed castle!
Third move: Rook f8 (!!)
And again, a sacrifice. The square f8 is controlled by the bishop and the king is blocked. White needs to take with the rook and allows us with this move to move again our queen and to take some important squares near to the king.
Fourth move: Queen g7# !
And now that our queen is not anymore pinned by the rook, we can easily checkmate on g7!
This is all! White should not give up in this position! Always calculate all the variants before giving up a game!
Have a good day,
