We've just witnessed an absolutely incredible victory by Magnus Carlsen over Teimour Radjabov after 7 hours play and with the victory he and Vladimir Kramnik will be tied going into the last round. If Magnus achieves the same result as Vlad tomorrow, he will qualify for a shot at the World Championship thanks to a superior tie-break.

Quite simply, we are looking at history in the making, join me tomorrow at 2PM GMT for LIVE coverage of round 14 and whether Magnus Carlsen or Vladimir Kramnik will play against Vishy Anand for the World Championship Crown.

i thought they should've kept nigel commentating the whole time. I thought he broke down the positions quite well, and explained the plans for both sides. Great tournament, too bad ivanchuck got in so much time trouble, he is a great talent.

IM Trent deserves the highest accolades for his exemplary conduct of a most difficult assignment.  Even in most Super-GM events, there are at most one or two games with enough suspense and interest to merit attention, but in this event it was almost every game in every round!

Absolutely superb job, I hope you get a nice vacation now!

Good job, Lawrence (and Macauley)! Look forward to hearing your respective thoughts on Full English Breakfast once you've recovered from this marathon.

Agree Trent + King is 'dream team'.

Lawrence was superb as a commentator!

I had quite a number of chuckles from the dialogue between him and Short.

    Great analysis too!

    Well done!!

Carlsen has taken the grinding style to a whole other level with his win today.  Can't wait for tomorrow's matches!  I think that Carlsen will have the tougher of the matchups since Kramnik will be playing Chucky.  So come on Chucky!  And of course, come-on Magnus!

History in the making? Well to paraphrase Bill Shankly, "Some people believe chess is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that".
