When it comes to chess, no matter how good humans can be, bots can always beat us. Today we will look at the Top 3 Chess Bots and have a look at their elo(rating)

1: Stockfish

When it comes to bots, how can we forget Stockfish. Currently known as the smartest chess bot in the world, Stockfish has defeated even the world’s smartest chess players in the world! Although losing to other bots a few times, it is still regarded as the best chess bot to ever exist. Let’s hope that someday, we can beat it(really unlikely).

2: AlphaZero

Although Stockfish might be really strong, AlphaZero would prove to be a tough opponent to beat. AlphaZero was created by DeepMind to challenge Stockfish and it has won some games against it. In the coming future, these two bots are definitely going to battle it out for being the best chess bot ever.

3: Leela Chess 0

Next up on the list is LC0. Also known as Leela for short, this bot can also pack a serious punch to both Stockfish and AlphaZero, having won a few games in the process. Leela Chess Zero was made by programmer Gary Linscott who, surprisingly, created Stockfish. Without him, we wouldn’t have had these bots and AlphaZero would be unstoppable.

Now that you know about these bots, try playing them and have a look at how good they really are. Until next time!
