2026 Chess Pre-Season in 241

Dear friends! Following the success of 2025, the same preseason format returns—an essential concept for our club, recognized by our members as a highly beneficial activity for growth and preparation for the upcoming season.

As in all sports, this is the period before the start of official competitions, where athletes and teams refine their technique, improve their physical and mental condition, and solidify their strategies. As you know, in chess, at our club, the preseason has become the ideal time to delve deeper into openings, improve calculation, and refine tactical and positional skills.

January 10-31 - A program that we must study and practice in 22 openings and defenses, with the goal of completing them and consolidating our learning. They say practice makes perfect, and 21 consecutive days help create a habit. Your support is appreciated. Your participation doesn't affect your ELO rating, but it does contribute to the growth of a club member and your enjoyment.


The Full Program of the 21 Arenas: Each Arena will be open for 12 hours so that everyone can put their knowledge into practice. These sessions will focus on a specific opening or defense, selected to help you develop your repertoire. They include classical, modern, and some specialized openings, organized according to the type of play they promote.
