Closing the Board, Delivery of the "241Awards" 2023 Edition!

Greetings, dear community! As we approach the end of this incredible chess year, it is 
time to reflect on our achievements, say goodbye to this memorable year, and welcome the 
festivities. In this last article of the year, we will explore our positions in the 
matches and chess rankings by votes, the highlights of the year, and send festive 
greetings to all our members.

During 2023, our club has experienced remarkable growth, being the club with the most regular live events; the club that grants the most awards and recognitions to its members; and the most creative and best organized club with AI assistance. 
Also in 241 we have a break and Preseason, Halloween lasts a month (all of October) and Christmas lasts two months (from November to January), if it were up to us Christmas would be all year round.

We currently have 1029 members from all countries and regions of the world(241), all passionate about chess and committed to the competitive and friendly spirit of the Global Citizens Club(241). On December 1, 2022 we reached 100 members, and on December 1, 2023 we reached 1000 members.

Club positions in the Rankings

In the competitive world of Matches (Correspondence Chess - Daily), it has achieved important triumphs with clubs located in the top10 and top100, without a doubt we are for more. Of 9 pending matches there are 6 clear victories, 1 draw and in chess by votes there are 4, with two clear victories. Nice Christmas gift, we won 2nd and 4th, with 1st we came out tied.
We are currently in position 951 with 75% of matches won.
In Chess by Votes, we are 785 with 86% of the games won, demonstrating the strategic skill and good teamwork of our members.

Member Recognitions and Awards During 2023

We have awarded 1257 recognitions and awards, digital trophies: 637"Great Show" (awarded to players of the match teams and other club nominations), 311 "Vote Chess Team Work" (awarded to players of the chess teams by votes), 241 " Heart of a Lion" (awarded to players at club events), 17 "Weight of the World" (awarded to members with a full passport) and 51 "Let's celebrate": Member number 100 Mista_Naaya, number 1000 aliiyaah and 50 "241Awards" (2023) 
Not counted: about 1000 Trophies awarded of: "Happy Easter", "Dance Moves", "Merry Christmas!", "Have a great New Year!", etc. Medals and Badges: We estimate more than 600, a total of more than 2700 awards and recognitions.

The King Chameleon 241: stugiv is crowned King Chameleon 241 of the year 2023, highlighting his versatility and success in the monthly tournaments and also in our Wednesday Arena.

The King of 241 Nations: Stormy is crowned King Nations 241 of the year 2023, obtaining more tournaments won from our Saturday Arena.

The King of 241 Flags: stugiv is crowned as the King Flags 241 of the year 2023, with more 
victories with our traditional Sunday Arena.

The King of Passport 241 Series: MasterChessFacu is crowned as the King Passport 241 of the year 2023, he has demonstrated his ability in the different chess variants, obtaining the greatest number of medals in the Series.
