My Third "Real" Finish + 3 Other Inconclusive Games
I have now finished six games in the 2021 Daily Chess Championship, and it is only Day 2 of the tournament! My first two games to draw to a close have been covered in my previous post. The two games there were both around thirty moves long. Here is the link to the blog post covering it: https://www.chess.com/blog/N00BM4STER/my-first-two-conclusions-me-vs-varuns21100
These next four games were finished today. Of the four games, only one had a conclusive finish. In one of the games, my opponent lost on time, while the other two games were both won(by me) by resignation.
Since you will probably not want to see the three games that did not have a definitive ending, I will just include the links in the comments section below. I will, however, analyze the game that had a "real" ending. I was White while my opponent, @keran7, was Black. Here is the link to my opponent's profile: chess.com/member/keran7
While my opponent's play was not perfect, his rating was 1000. Many of the players in this tournament are new to the game, and the fact that so many more people have begun to play chess is incredible. I hope his enthusiasm for the game continues, and he grows to love it as much as I do!
