Main Blog-
Lets take a look at the shortest chess game-

White- Anonymous (GM)
Black- Anonymous (GM)

And after this move black resigned. But why did black resign when he could capture the white bishop. So let me explain you and lets go deeper. So this is how the story goes-
In olden days when chess was played in the 90s players did a premove by committing. In online chess we can premove and similarly in olden chess days people did premove by committing. They committed their move or premoved it. In the above position black comited that he would play Bg7. He was confident that white will play a standard move like e4 or c4. But white just became a genius and then played Bh7. So according to the commitment black needs to play Bg7 compulsory. If he played bg7 then white would capture blacks bishop + he would also get blacks rook. So black resigned here.

Moral- Never premove or never me confident. Chess is a game in which we need to be ready for every moves even if it is not a main line. Hence I never premove in online chess.
