I have self diagnosed my problem: Obsessive Chess Disorder. I think many of my friends have this problem also. It can be detected quite easily.

If you have any or all of the listed symptoms then you likely have O.C.D. also.

Feel free to add some of your own symptoms that you have experienced.

Symptoms include (but are not limited to):

Playing chess while getting ready for work.

Doing chess puzzles or reading chess books at work.

Getting online during lunch break instead of eating lunch.

Having so many games online that you cannot possibly move in all of them without running out of time in some. Or relying on vacation time to save you repeatedly.

Playing chess on holidays while everyone else is celebrating.
