Why are the black pawns attacking their king?

 My king frequently wonders if his pawns are loyal subjects. I am not suggesting that my pawns are part of some vast conspiracy, seeking regime change, but occasionally there may be a double agent working for the other side.

 When my king tells his pawns to get in formation, he needs to remind them that the tripled pawn formation was not the one he had in mind.
