I'm excited to share with my chess friends a project I have been working on this summer. A new repertoire course for black against all common opening moves besides 1.e4. The ChessGoals Dynamic Slav Course is now available for pre-order, and $10 off with code earlyslav. You receive the full PGN file and five of the ten videos are currently published.

Here's the full chapter 1, now available on YouTube.

Here are the reasons our course stands out amongst other opening courses:

  1. Consistency - Similar lines and themes are repeated across chapters and variations
  2. Plans - Each line leaves you with a plan, without going too deep into the weeds
  3. No GM Games - Based on lines we expect you to see in games against non-masters
  4. Common Traps - Common mistakes you may see, and how to punish them

The course covers all of the common transpositions in 10 chapters, each has 8-10 lines.

  1. Semi-Slav Noteboom
  2. Semi-Slav Marshall Gambit
  3. QGD Exchange
  4. Dutch Stonewall and Catalan Attempts
  5. Slav Exchange
  6. London System
  7. Queen's Pawn Game
  8. Reti
  9. English
  10. Other 1st Moves

And here's the PGN of the first chapter.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the course! We also have courses for the Caro-Kann (black) and Classical 1.d4 (white).

Good chess!
