I'm sort of sad :(

Ok, so I played at the arlington chess club open 59 today, as you do. I got there at 8 AM as you do. And I was ready to play. Round 1 I was paired against Huu Nguyen. An (at the time) Unrated who turned out to be 2170 FIDE. And if he was listed as that, i wouldn't have had to play him.

So I was kind of upset, but not really once I found out he was 2100. Round 2 I was paired against Lohit Polisetti, A 1597 who ended up having a very good tournament. Let's jump in.

I felt so-so about that game. On one hand i am disappointed drawing vs 1500, but he is a very strong 1500. I don't really want to talk about the third game. I am still triggered. My third round opponent was Neil Lad (1587). And he played 1. f3 2. Kf2 and I STILL LOST. I didn't really know how to face this troll line and overextended and got a very bad position. Neil if you're reading this I will be better prepared next time!

Didn't put many comments on that game, but you gotta understand i'm MAD.

Round 4 I was paired against Bobby Quijano (1726) which you may remember from a previous blog.

So i finished the tournament with 1.5/4. which isn't the worst, but i've definitely done better (see my other blogs) As of right now I don't know my rating, but fingers crossed I hang on to 1800.
