Behind the Avatar - ChessBeteigeuze

Betei was trying to go quickly and I've given up on trying to react (I still read the replies dw) so if this looks weird, deal with it.
Me: We'll be interviewing @ChessBeteigeuze in the 14th blog. How are you doing?
Betei: I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking.
Me: That's good. Tell us a bit about yourself!
Betei: I'm @ChessBeteigeuze and some of my hobbies include playing chess, football and reading books.
Me: Why did you choose the username you did?
Betei: Beteigeuze, or Betelgeuse in english is a star (Beteigeuze is the german variation) I like astronomy lol. I wanted to take @Beteigeuze at the beginning, but it was already taken so I added a chess to it.
Me: Why did you choose your current pfp?
Betei: I choose my current pfp because @Witty_Alien quit streaming and this is his pfp, I'm gonna change it in a few days probably.
Me: Do you own or have a staff position in any clubs?
Betei: I used to have a club called The Geniuses Of Chess but gave it away, now I'm the proud owner of my private club with 1 member fr. I'm a coord in CVC. I'm admin/SA in 2 h/h alliances, admin in The Studio but they are only sub clubs of CVC at most.
Me: How did you find Chess.com social and what is your opinion on it?
Betei: I found it because there was the option Clubs on chess.com and joined clubs. I think that social can be a nice place to make friends, but make sure to not decidate that much time to it and take a break if needed.
Me: Do you prefer clubs or OTF, and why?
Betei: I never really tried OTF so I can't really say much about it but I prefer clubs. They are more chess related and the threads on OTF can be kinda freaky, like Will You Date The Person Above You threads.
Me: I would like to point out that Dove requested that club people do research before dissing on OTF because it's not all bad forums (according to her), but yeah stay away from the bad forums. What would you say is your greatest achievement on Chess.com?
Betei: I don't really know since I'm not that well known on social yet and kinda bad at online chess, much better OTB. Maybe finding chess.com? There are many people who don't play chess.
Me: Are there any blogs/clubs/people you would like to shoutout, and if so what/who are they?
Betei: I wanna shoutout Author's Behind The Avatar series, the club CVC and there are a lot of people who deseve to get a shoutout.
