How to Make a Table of Contents in a Blog
I've had two people ask me how to make the table of contents that I have in my mafia blogs (funnily enough, both people were making a mafia blog). So, I decided to make a tutorial.
Thank you to @Jehtt for teaching me how to make the table of contents.
Find the place where you want to have your table of contents (TOC) link to. You can have your TOC link to as many places in your blog as you want, but for now pick one because you can only add one at a time. Click there. If there are already words there, make sure the caret (the flashing line that tells you where typed stuff will go) is before the first word.
So if you haven't typed your section title yet, put it like this in your new line:

And if your words are already there, it should be:

I recommend always doing it the first way because otherwise you'll be deleting a lot of things.
Now, go to "Insert/edit media" in the editing bar.

Go to "Embed".

Put "<a id=text>text</a>" into the box. Do not add the quotation marks.
The first "text" is your anchor name. The anchor name is how this link will be referenced by Chess.com's system when linking this in the TOC later in the tutorial. Highlight or delete it and put whatever you'd like to name your anchor here. So if your section is going to be titled "Puppies Are Cute", you might put "Puppies" or "PuppiesAreCute" in this area. You cannot add spaces.
The second "text" is where your section title goes. Highlight or delete it and put whatever you'd like to title your section here. Let's say your section name is "Puppies Are Cute". Just put that exactly in this section. If you're linking to a paragraph, put the first word of the paragraph here. You can add spaces to this one.
By now, using our example, it should look something like this:

Click "Save".
You should now see this:

If so, congratulations! You've done everything correctly so far!
If not, IDK what to tell you.
You can now style this text however you'd like.
Now, head on over to your Table of Contents and find the text you want to link to your "Puppies Are Cute" section, or add it. Highlight said text and click "Insert/edit link".

Find the "Anchors" dropdown menu and click it.

Find your anchor name (so here I'd look for the one that says "PuppiesAreCute"). Click it, and then click "Save". Your highlighted text should now be blue as if you've added a normal link to it. Click "Save and Preview" on your blog (that way if it didn't work, you can fix it before others see it). If you click the linked text, it should take you to that section.
