Hi everyone! Today, I would like to share with you a very instructive lecture from my one of my latest ChessBase training DVD on how to attack against a long castled king. In my previous post, I have outlined the key ideas a chess player should keep in mind when the opponent’s king is exposed in the middle or castled short (kingside). What if he castles queenside though? Attacking against a long castling isn’t that simple, so in this video lecture, I present a very beautiful game by GM Nigel Short that shows all that’s important to begin your successful attacks against a long castled king of your opponent.
If you want to follow the analysis attentively you should maximize the broadcast window: Click on the YouTube icon or "Full screen" on the bottom right.
I hope that you find the example interesting and if you are interested in seeing some more examples from this DVD, you can check more information at: http://shop.chessbase.com/en/products/lilov_castled_long_attacking_the_king
