Crushing Queen Pawn Openings
Hey guys! This week I had another awesome YouTube webinar, this time on how to crush all those solid, positional 1.d4 players!
If you want to follow the lecture attentively, you should maximize the broadcast window by clicking at the lecture title on top.
If you’re the type of player who likes to get into the fight right away, then it can be frustrating when White is only interested in blocking the position and pushing pieces one square at a time in slow manoeuvres.
However, know what you’re doing and there are a ton of opportunities to display your attacking skill.
Remember Vishy Anand's brilliancy as Black against Levon Aronian? Anand played the Semi-Slav Defense, placed a Bishop on b7, the other on d6 then began sacrificing pieces all over the place! A shell-shocked Aronian knocked over his King after just 23 moves.
Now spend 1 hour on the video above and you'll be able to get dynamic positions against the Queen pawn openings plus pick up a ton of cool tricks, traps and attacks.
If you want to upgrade your opening repertoire and get better results with the shortest amount of time spent on training, then join my next webinar on Saturday at noon EST (Sat 28 May).
