Fighting the Giants - Part I

Fighting the Giants - Part I

In today’s blog post, I will show you three very instructive games I played a few days ago on Playchess.com against a top grandmaster who’s name remains anonymous. The games were played over the internet at the fast time control of 1 min + 1 second increment. The first game I would like to show you serves as a great example of how superior piece coordination can cause tremendous difficulties even to the strongest opponent one can ever meet over the board. On the other hand, in the second game, having accumulated enough momentum to throw myself in the attack and play aggressively, I managed to score a second win in a row! The third one is pretty good as well, as the Grandmaster went into complications and took on too much risk. I tried to explain my thoughts in real time while the games were going. All the games are included the video below. I hope you enjoy it!
