It takes a lot of confidence to see the opportunity or create the opportunity of such an expensive sacrifices as two bishops. German World Champion Emanuel Lasker played a perfect example of the Double Bishop Sacrifice in Amsterdam 1889, studied in blog post The Double Bishop Sacrifice.
