Chess wariness

I'm back again with my next post! this time, it is about chess wariness. Now you might say that this sounds a little silly, but in fact it is crucial to your chess success. I am sure there are lots of people who do know this, and my blog May be able to help a few higher rated people. But take into account that i write this blog not for the experienced, but rather those who give it their all, but still fail to improve much. I write for those who DON'T know this. so please, don't leave any hateful comments, or tell me how you already know this.

Now for the fun part...The games! because we like examples in our posts of how this affects actual outcomes, don't we?

first up, a game played by me and @savatage27, who kicks my butt nearly every time we play. thanks for letting me use the game, as i think it is a great way to start the post off.

as you can see, it was not so much because of me playing better that led me to win. but more that he let his guard down. if he had played another move and defended f2 i would have lost a tempo and so would be pressured throughout the game. now, next up are some games with @hitthepin again! i did't have time to analyze my match vs Benibass. but next time you shall have games with him analyzed real good...hopefully good.

this time I payed the price for my letting down of the guard. but next time, i shall eat thine face off with my mighty skillz! take that, and that, aaand THAT! *sees everyone watching* next game.😳🤓

🤯how did i play so bad that time? it was terrible! well, next game is my favorite. he lets his guard down in a clearly winning position, with over a minute more than me on the clock if i remember correctly.

see? told ya. these games were won because of a slip up, maybe even a little cockiness on my part, and letting down your guard. so remember, always look at the whole board, always pay full attention, and always think twice.
