I paired Deepseek together to play chess.
If you don't know, Deepseek is a Chinese AI startup or a chatbot similar to ChatGPT, and I heard someone say that's even smarter/better than its counterpart. This led me to consider the possibility of making them play a game of chess together. Now without further ado, let's get started!
The Preperation
Of course, I have to make 2 Deepseek accounts and make them play together by relaying moves from one chat to another, even though I struggled to make an account, but I succeeded nonetheless.
The Game
After convincing them to play with each other, the game begins. And believe it or not, nothing happened at first. But after a few moves, things started to get crazy. The game that I would proceed to show below would show you that even though artificial intelligences are smart, they still have flaws. So, enjoy and embraced the chaos!
Of course, being the superior AI model it is, it fails to realize that its knight is already on b8, so I corrected it. And it actually works, and the game continues!
If you see the thumbnail, you'd know what I mean. The AI tries to play an illegal move, and even though I corrected it. It still proceeds to make a move that's even worse by capturing its own knight. At that moment I knew that it's time to let the fun begin.
As you can see, the black AI didn't even realized that the KIng's in check by the Queen, and proceeded to checkmate white like nothing happened, and that's the whole game of two Deepseek chatbots playing with eachother. Fun fact, the Bot's logo is not a whale but an orca as I've mentioned. Hope you enjoy this blog!
