Hey Everyone! Today I want to show you how to punish the Duras Gambit! More like punish me, because I have a tendency to play it! Yikes... Hope you enjoy!

The Duras Gambit For Black! And like any other gambit, the goal is to get better development. The problem though is that the Duras Gambit limits the moves you have for development. The line goes as below:

So now, usually what I do, is another gambit but...more of like an invisible gambit I play, something like below: 
Now then let's get to the idea of this blog how can white punish the Duras Gambit if the opponent does not play nf3. Well here we go!

Very simple idea with White simply winning with either taking the Rook or forcing the King out and maybe a future checkmate.
