Control over an open file

Having control over an open file can be very handy. Often it is used by players to trade all heavy pieces, but it can of course be used to build up some pressure.

In this game I was pleased about my time usage, and finding good moves to maintain the pressure over the open file.

I liked it how I refrained from capturing a pawn during several moves

and played active. Stockfish didn't like some of my moves, but I hope you get the active-playing and file-control ideas.
