Next Level Of Play - Bongcloud

As you all probably know, the Bongcloud is incredibly brilliant, and only certified 'big brains' will choose to play it! Many grandmasters like Magnus Carlsen, and Hikaru Nakamura have mastered the Bongcloud, and now play it regularly in their games. What is this "bongcloud" opening your talking to me about and why is it so good you might ask, well here is why!  

You see, the Bongcloud isn't just some sort of 'normal opening', it's exceptionally cool. The king as lots of people say, is the strongest chess piece on the board. And it only has one single weakness that chess players constructed as humanity arose, and that is the fact that people underestimate it! That's right! The king is a lot stronger than you think! No king, no game. Whoever invented the Bongcloud is a true genius. Why do I think that? Well... obviously the creator of the Bongcloud was trying to show everyone that the king has powers! I'm happy that he showed his point. Nowadays, some great masters play it! 

Although the Bongcloud has 1 single point, and that is to extend the amount of squares your king goes on, it has many... many lines. And I'm talking many! It has hundreds of lines depending on the interest of the human playing it. Today I shall show you some of the most popular lines in the Bongcloud!

1. 2Kf2 (Brilliant Setup)

You might have heard of this line, I don't care. I am still going to teach it to you . 2Kf2 is a brilliant move that can lead to different setups such as 3g3, or 3Nh6, but the most popular line is probably... 3c3! World chess champion Magnus Carlsen will explain it all here! I in my own words will explain this line:

Now white has a great position, the Knight's will take both c3, and f3! Completely playable! Here is another interesting line, using the same "2Kf2":

White has a great position, white pretty much castled just now! 

Okay, so those were the 2 most popular lines when you play, 2Kf2. Now lets move on to the most popular Bongcloud, 2Ke2! 

2. 2Ke2

Another amazing line! If you are trying to expand your opening repertoire, this is a great backup plan! Frankly, the higher your king goes the better! Here is my personal favorite Bongcloud line! Enjoy  

3Ke3 is brilliant as well, in this line additionally, white will easily be able too develop their pieces! This line is very playable for white, just shows how powerful the king really is!

There are many lines when you play 2Ke2, and it will literally take forever to name all of them. That's why I will be moving on to the next type of bongcloud! 2Kd2!

3. 2Kd2

This is that one line in the Bongcloud, that is rarely played. I mean, come on! This line is fantastic! Here is why:

Okay... this is great! You have to admit, white will have absolutely no trouble developing their following pieces. This line is no worse than the other lines! I really don't know why people don't play it...

The Bongcloud is incredible! It's great, it's fantastic, it's brilliant! It's amazing, it's superhuman, it's absolutely playable is what I meant. Get more people to play the Bongcloud! The level of chess will rise! You have to agree with me.
