Today I played with a german player, who was rated 2001 in standard time control.

This time I streamed both the game and the analysis.

He played the english opening. I played the Botwinnik setup with c5 and e5 to gain space and control d4.  He worked out the d5 weak square and planted a knight there. I missed the Rb8, b7-b5 counterplay and his pressure increased and his advantage too. He played too passively and allowed me to make good exchanges. I got a small advantage in the endgame, but he defended well:
