Today we will study the checkmates of World Champion Anatoly Karpov.

In the first puzzle he beat the best bulgarian player Veselin Topalov in the Netherlands ina blitz game:

White to move and checkmates in 1 move

Today's harder puzzle was played in Alma-Ata in the world championship candidates match against Valery Salov in 1995:
Black to move and checkmates in 5 moves

I wish you a lot of fun for the puzzles! If you gave a nice checkmate and would like me to publish it, then please send it to me in a message!

Thank you!
