London system against the King's indian defense
When white plays the London system against the King's indian defense, then his king's position can be safer than in the usual king's indian lines, because of his dark square bishop joins the defense.
Today I played a game against a USCF Candidate Master, Dr. Jeremy Mandelkern.
He played the solid Nbd7, b6, Bb7 setup which gives good chance for black to equalize.
In that system important to play Ne4 to exchange the knights. Black has less space, so exchanges free his position.
Instead of Ne4 he played e5 and I played d5 and later e4 to transpose to a usual king's indian center. He played c6 which freed the d5 square for my knight which became very dangerous and won the game:
