Round 2 - EUTender Master Tourney - Slav defense
In round 2 of the EUTender Master Tourney I played the Slav defense against International Master David Horvath. He played the solid Bd3 move against Bf5 to offer the exchange and soon offered me a draw. I decided to play on in a little worse position and soon I could get some air with c6-c5 break. The position was still better for him, but I got activity and after a few too soft moves I got a nice combination to win a pawn. He still had a nice way to get enough compensation, but he did not find it. Then I had a chance to keep the activity wirh the extra pawn, but I missed it and we went to an rook endgame where he had an active rook to save the game.
