I love when my blog posts go in thematic shifts from tactical to positional, and back again!
So now that you've seen some heavily tactical things yesterday, today we feature a more positional-heavy Classical Caro-Kann game (G/40 d5) that I played last Sunday at the April Knights Quest tournament. I played black against a 1013-rated girl. Her position became rather disadvantageous the whole time especially due to ill-placed bishops (and other pieces) and lack of a solid well-developed game plan, and this was where I was able to exploit these loopholes of hers and seize a fast win.
