This blog entry is inspired by the great Pearl Jam song "Why Go" from their first album "Ten"

I can't understand why my opponent resigned here, when the position to me is quite unclear and I see no forcing win for Black.
Why did he go home?
3 squares for the White King look playable with Kc2, Kc3, Ka1 and I can't find a knockout or decisive advantage for Black.
As an aside, I was happy out of the opening, for White didn't put immediate pressure on Black with aggressive g4 plans (or being willing to sacrifice the g-pawn for an attack). I quite like my plan of preparing ... b5 with Qa6 to secure Queenside play against the long castled White King.
